Today all of us were going stir crazy in the house so we all got bundled up and went out to the barn. There is something about the smell of hay, sawdust, and horses that can clear a persons mind. All is forgotten when you see a pony that just a month ago could not walk and today we opened her stall door and out she ran and bucked and played! We thought that we were going to have to break our children's hearts and put the love of their life down this winter. Thank goodness we found out she had a thyroid problem and got her on medicine. What a blessing! So, I guess next time we find ourselves going crazy in the house during these long winter months it will be out to the barn for the Byers family!!!
