My brother and his wife's twin boys, Nathan and Adam!!

Nathan on the left and Adam on the right. They were about 20 months old in these pictures. It is so Awesome to be the Aunt of twins!! Never a dull moment around the Hauf house when these two are up.

After I print these pages out I am going to put star brads between Nathan and Super Stars and Adam. I wish I had digi-scrapped when CLayton and Kaya were little because they have such cute kits for little kids on the computer.

Clay and Rodeo!!!

This is a page I did of Clayton and our old dog Rodeo. I am going to do another page to go with this one but didn't have the time tonight to finish it. We will cherish these pages forever because rodeo is getting old. He is 11years old this year and we know our time with him is limited. I am pretty sure he has almost used all of his 9 lives up! Rodeo was our first child!! He is still very good with the kids and as you can tell by the pictures he loves his kid!!! Rodeo has been here for every step of Clayton's life and I am so glad I grabbed the camera when I did! Clay had just fallen asleep and Rodeo went over and layed down right beside him and then decided Clay needed some puppy kisses before bed!

The last of Kaya's Birthday pages!!

I am now done with all of Kaya's 4th Birthday pages. I had a lot of fun doing these pages at a local coffee shop with my friend and fellow digi-scrapper, Denise. We drank LOTS of coffee and downloaded other templates and kits. It was so awesome to have hot coffee and a full menu whenever we wanted it. I can't wait to go back!!!

Snow Much Fun!!!

We had so much fun sledding at Grandma and Grandpa Hauf''s house. Papa Bill started up the International and got the turtle lid from the old sand box, which worked great and didn't even break, and off we went out to one of the pastures. Besides the occasional frozen turds hitting our tail ends everything went really well. The kids would fall off and up they got to run after the sled. I can't remember the last time we laughed this much. Clayton did figure out if he leaned a certain way he could ditch him and his sister!! Oh, the fun they had!!! Then, I got on and all three of us went around the pasture. Mike really wanted to drive while I was on the back to try and ditch me in the snow!! I am glad I always had a kid with me!! Back in the house with all of us frozen and Grandma made us coffee and hot cocoa to warm us up and we watched a movie by the fire. What a great day!!!

Who needs therapy when you have a barn!!

Today all of us were going stir crazy in the house so we all got bundled up and went out to the barn. There is something about the smell of hay, sawdust, and horses that can clear a persons mind. All is forgotten when you see a pony that just a month ago could not walk and today we opened her stall door and out she ran and bucked and played! We thought that we were going to have to break our children's hearts and put the love of their life down this winter. Thank goodness we found out she had a thyroid problem and got her on medicine. What a blessing! So, I guess next time we find ourselves going crazy in the house during these long winter months it will be out to the barn for the Byers family!!!

My digital scrapbook pages!!

I am trying out digital scrapbooking so I signed up for a free trial. These are my very first pages I sampled. The pictures were some of the family pictures taken at Flash Digital Portraits in Valley West Mall. And yes, I did buy the rights to these pictures so I won't get thrown in jail for using them. I am really excited about digital scrapbooking. It is so much faster than using paper!! Now, I just need to find out how expensive it is to get them printed for my books. To be continued......

Christmas is a time to be thankful for all of the things in our life. It is a time of year to reflect on all the Outstanding people that impact us on a daily basis. One of those people in our life is our home school liaison, Leslie. She is always here for us to ask questions and give great advice. We would truly be lost without her.

This year we went to the pumpkin patch with Grandma Byers and cousins, Dan and Katie Moss. We had a wonderful time going through the corn maze, finding the perfect pumpkin in the patch, riding the tractor, swimming in the corn pool, feeding the Elk, and eating fudge with family. The kids always have a great time when Dan and Katie come for a visit.

The Giant Pumpkin!!!

This year my dad got given a Giant pumpkin in trade for all of his manure. What a great trade!! Clayton and Kaya loved decorating for fall with Grandma and Grandpa Hauf. They wanted to carve the pumpkin. Little did they know that it would take a chain saw to do that. The pumpkin weighed 900lbs!!! As you can see, they didn't try to carve it!!!
This year for Halloween we went into Maxwell to trick-or-treat with our friends Morgan and Marshall Day on Thursday night. The kids had a great time going from house to house and ended up with buckets of candy! Kaya thought she was the most beautiful princess and Clayton was the scary Davey Jones. Then, the next day we got up and drove to Chicago to trick-or-treat with Nathan and Adam. And again, the kids had a great time going around the block getting even more candy. We hope to make this an annual visit!!
